Here, recorded for posterity, we see one of the first performances of the Adirondack Baroque Consort. It was New Year's Day, on a small boat, in Florida. The musicians traveled about, serenading friends and neighbors. Who knew that this was the be- ginning of a group that would be continuously performing for over a half a century, one of the oldest Early Music groups in the United States?

To begin with, there were eight musicians, and through the years it has remained at about that number.
